Recommended books and resources for
beginners in Learning as a
Hobby
Resources on these pages will
help you get motivated, overcome obstacles and help you teach
yourself anything you like. They will help you improve your
reading and vocabulary and give you some help with techniques
to get started.
The books on
these pages are ones that I have found useful. I've provided
links to Amazon so that you can take a look yourself and see if
you think they would be useful. Almost all the books available
on Amazon are four or five star books.
Many of the
books will be available in your public library. If you're
serious want to teach yourself new things, I
encourage you to get acquainted with your library if
you're not already. Some of the books may no longer be in
print. When that's the case, I'll try to provide a source, and
you can also check the Amazon used book links.
